Learn how to pick the perfect Quakes cap based on fit, style, and activity. Compare the 9Twenty, 59FIFTY, and BBQ cap options.
Quick answer
Your ideal Quakes cap depends on your head shape and how you plan to wear it. Choose a 9Twenty for a relaxed, adjustable fit; a 59FIFTY for an authentic on-field look; and the BBQ 59FIFTY for a fun, game-day grilling vibe.
Understanding the key differences
The main difference between Quakes caps comes down to fit and style. The 9Twenty is an adjustable dad cap with a low-profile crown, while the 59FIFTY is a fitted cap with a structured crown that matches what players wear on the field. The BBQ 59FIFTY is a special edition of the fitted style with a playful design.
Your choice should consider your head shape, whether you prefer a snug or relaxed fit, and the occasion. Adjustable caps work well for most head sizes, while fitted caps offer a more precise fit but require knowing your size.
Decision rules for your Quakes cap
- Choose a 9Twenty cap if...: You prefer an adjustable, relaxed fit that works for most head sizes. The 9Twenty has a lower crown and curved brim, giving it a classic dad cap look.
- Choose a 59FIFTY cap if...: You want the exact same cap style worn by the Quakes players. It comes in fitted sizes from 7 1/8 to 8 1/4, so measure your head before buying. Measure your head circumference and match it to the size chart for a snug, comfortable fit.
- Choose the BBQ 59FIFTY cap if...: You want a fun, conversation-starting cap for game-day tailgates or backyard grilling. It shares the same fitted fit as the standard 59FIFTY but with a unique design. This cap is a special edition, so grab it while it's available if you love the theme.
